Listeners say she has the voice of an angel . . . anointed, spirit filled. . . singing from her heart with a purity and sweetness that they could listen to for hours. A style uniquely her own. She astounds her audiences with her repertoire that includes Traditional & Contemporary Gospel, Classic Country, Western, Bluegrass, Oldies, Movie & Show Tunes, Pop, New Country, Folk, Patriotic, Holiday, Sing-A-Longs and Children’s Favorities. While it is a special joy to sing her own compositions, she also loves singing songs that are favorites of the audiences she performs for, often taking audience requests. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ By the age of 13, Sandy (Brickner) began singing in her school, church and community. By age 16, Sandy was performing on the stage of Jamboree In The Hills (Brush Run Ohio) as a finalist in the Jamboree U.S.A. sponsored "Starquest" competition. From there she became Jamboree U.S.A's youngest contracted member, opening shows at the Capital Music Hall in Wheeling, WV for country artists like Alan Jackson, Alabama, Ronnie Milsap, Porter Wagoner, Donna Fargo, Tammy Wynette, Ronnie McDowell, Billy Crash Craddock, Bill Anderson, Louise Mandrell, Stella Parton, Johnny Paycheck and Box Car Willie. Sandy cut her first record at age 17 on the stage of Jamboree U.S.A. with the New Generation Express staff band.
Sandy's first singing experience was as a little girl in a children's choir, which impressed upon her heart that there is NO MUSIC MORE GRATIFYING TO SING THAN THAT WHICH BRINGS GLORY TO OUR CREATOR. By age 19 MUSIC MINISTRY became a life endeavor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sandy's mother, Fran Brickner, also had a passion for music from a young age... writing songs, singing on radio shows and performing with big bands in the 1950's till setting her career aside to raise her three children. Early on, she recognized that Sandy, her youngest, shared her love for music and devoted years to transporting her to guitar lessons and coaching her in the art of singing & songwriting. As Sandy’s ability to play the guitar increased, so did her singing and songwriting. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sandy wrote her first song at the age of 13. To date she has written over 150 Gospel, Country, Pop, Children's and Holiday songs. Sandy has recorded 1 record, 2 cassettes and 7 albums. Her latest album reflects the tremendous sacrifices made by our servicemen & women, their families, first responders, ambassadors of Christ and above all, Jesus Christ who gave His life to set men free from sin and death. Sandy aspires to do more recording in the not too distant future of her original compositions.

SANDY'S PATH TO MUSIC MINISTRY “It took one year out of high school and the shelter of my parents to open my eyes to MY GREAT NEED FOR GOD.“ On June 14, 1981 I heard one of my favorite singers, Debbie Boone, testify and sing that Christ is the light of her life. Billy Graham followed with a Gospel message that pierced my heart. My bedroom became the altar where I poured out to God my failures, foolishness and brokenness. I prayed the sinner’s prayer when I was 15, but allowed other loves to take over. All left me with an hole in my heart that ONLY Christ could heal and fill. I‘ll NEVER FORGET the light and warmth of God's love that encompassed me that night and has remained with me even in my deepest, darkest valleys. I sincerely asked God to show me what He wanted me to do with my life and talents... my heart heard the still, small voice of the Holy Spirit... “go to the lost, deceived, lonely and broken with your voice and testimony.” MY MUSIC MINISTRY BEGAN. Whether I’m singing in a church, retreat, coffeehouse, nursing home, hospital, bedside or funeral or ENTERTAINING at a festival, fair, school, picnic, restaurant or banquet hall, I ALWAYS include songs that convey the love of the Savior. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sandy's singing and her writing is a reflection of her faith, her values and observations, as well as her own personal struggles and life experiences. Some of the songs that she composes come from God's Holy Word.
